Welcome to The Parenting Course Online
What is The Parenting Children Course?
The Parenting Children Course is a six session on-demand course designed to help parents, carers, and parents-to-be to strengthen their family relationships by providing them with practical teaching and support.
Over the six sessions, the course will seek to help you:
Build strong foundations
Meet your children's needs
Set clear boundaries
Teach healthy relationships
Consider you long term aim
Nurture your children's faith
How does the course work?
This course is an on-demand resource that you can start at any time. This way you’re able to watch the sessions at your own pace and at a convenient time. If possible, we’d recommend setting aside a particular day of the week and time to invest in your parenting.
Who is it for?
The Parenting Children Course is for parents, step-parents, expectant parents, or carers of children aged 0-10 years. The course is for every type of parenting context including parenting on your own, step-parenting and parenting as a couple.
The Parenting Children Course is based on Christian principles but designed for all parents and carers with or without a church background.
Create a discussion group
If you want to get the most out of the course we’d strongly recommend you to do the course with a group of other parents so that you can discuss the material covered together and provide support for one another. If you are interested in the course, we’d encourage you to invite one or more of your friends to join the course so that you can form a discussion group at the end of each session. You could create a watch party or organise a video call online.
If you would like to us to help connect you with other parents who have children of a similar age, please email us at relationships@htb.org.
In our decades of working with couples around the world, we have seen over and over again the lasting impact of taking the time to invest in your marriage and your family. Our passion is to help couples work on their relationship and deepen their connecting because strong marriages enable families and communities to thrive.
