The Bereavement Journey ®
The Bereavement Journey® is being offered by churches and Christian organisations across the UK and the world. Ideally Participants attend a course in their local area. This page is for booking Holy Trinity Brompton's online course, run for us by AtaLoss. It is open to London-based participants, as well as anyone across the UK who isn’t able to access a local course. If you are based outside of London, or in another part of London, please visit the locations page on www.thebereavementjourney.org/locations before booking, to see whether there is a course nearer that would suit you.
We ask people from outside the UK or who are wishing to run or learn more about The Bereavement Journey® not to register as Participants, but to email info@thebereavementjourney.org for course involvement opportunities and training.
For other bereavement support services and information visit AtaLoss.
Loss needs to be processed for our physical and mental health and wellbeing. Unresolved grief can also affect our attitudes, relationships and attainment.
The Bereavement Journey® is a place to talk - 7 Sessions of films and discussion for anyone, whether grieving a death now, or wanting to explore a previous bereavement that may be unresolved. This course is for bereaved adults to do their own grief work. It is supported by a Participant Manual and facilitated by volunteers.
Attendance is recommended for all the Sessions, although it is possible to join at Session 2. It is most beneficial to attend at least a few weeks after the death - ideally after the funeral, but this is not essential and The Bereavement Journey® can benefit those in anticipatory grief, also pregnancy loss.
Time: 7:15 for 7:30 - 9:30pm
